not healthy. get over it and eat it anyways.
*great to make with kids. they can “help” with so much of it*
ingredient list:
– 2/3 C granulated sugar
– 2 teaspoons cinnamon
– 2 cans buttermilk biscuits
– 10 Tablespoons butter
– 1 C brown sugar
OVEN: 350 degrees
PAN: Bunt – greased (i use butter, but you can use cooking spray)
CINNAMON SUGAR MIX (in a gallon sized baggie):
– 2/3 C granulated sugar
– 2 Tablespoons cinnamon (you can adjust to suit your cinnamon needs. i like a lot. og recipe called for 2 teaspoons)
BISCUIT PREP:
– 2 cans buttermilk biscuits
– cut into 1/6 ths (most recipes say 1/4ths, but i like to do 1/6ths because smaller pieces mean more surface area to cover in cinnamon sugar)
– drop a handful at a time into the baggie, seal and shake until coated
– place cinnamon sugar coated biscuit pieces into the bunt pan
IN A SAUCEPAN:
– 10 Tablespoons butter
– 1 C brown sugar (packed)
(bring to a boil over medium-high heat. boil 1 minute – stirring constantly. The butter and brown sugar should become one and not separate.)
POUR CARAMEL SAUCE OVER THE TOP OF THE BISCUITS
BAKE 35-40 MIN
COOL 5 MIN
TURN UPSIDE DOWN
EAT
